TriSync — Live sync from Blender to Unity
A downloadable TriSync for Windows, macOS, and Linux
TriSync is a Blender add-on and Unity Editor companion for live synchronization of 3D content between Blender and Unity.
It is a development tool, not a standalone game, player build, or HTML5 application.
Features
- Import and update meshes, materials, and textures
- Support for UV0 through UV7, normals, vertex colors, and triangle topology
- Transform, hierarchy, visibility, and scene-state synchronization
- Shape Keys and Unity BlendShapes
- Rigged objects, skinning, and bind poses
- Animation Clip import and export
- Geometry Nodes mesh workflows
- Unity Mesh extraction to Blender
- Humanoid Avatar and Root Motion tools
- Unity Registry and diagnostics tools
- English and Simplified Chinese interface support
Blender and Unity communicate through a local WebSocket connection. No cloud service or online account is required.
Requirements
- Blender 4.2.x through 5.2.x
- Unity Editor 6000.0.x through 6000.5.x
- Universal Render Pipeline 17.0.x through 17.5.x
- Unity and URP minor versions must match, for example:
- Unity 6000.3.x with URP 17.3.x
The Blender add-on includes optional native mesh helpers for:
- Windows x86_64
- Linux x86_64
- macOS arm64
- macOS x86_64
If the native helper cannot be loaded, TriSync automatically uses its Python implementation. The feature remains functional, but large mesh operations may be slower.
Windows x86_64 is the fully qualified platform. Linux and macOS native artifacts are included, but their full interoperability coverage is more limited.
